  • Owner and head chef, Kenny Gilbert is known for competing on Top Chef. Well-liked on his season for his undeniable skills and big personality, Chef Kenny maintains a substantial following and boosts the appeal of the CKG Flavor Bombs brand.

  • CKG cultivated an elevated fast-casual concept. They offer a unique dining experience, coupling delightful, signature champagne cocktails and gourmet comfort food, featuring international flavors.

  • The outside Bamboo Zen Garden patio is a unique feature with brick pavers that provides a warm and friendly vibe.


THE CONCEPT

When Kenny and Anna were on quarantine at home in 2020, they passed their days brainstorming their next concept. Anna initially wanted to do fine dining, which she knew was Kenny’s passion, but she also always had a dream of bringing a Fried Chicken and Champagne concept to Jacksonville after Gilbert’s Underground Kitchen was featured at South Beach Food and Wines Chicken Coupe event. This event had 20+ Chefs cooking their favorite Fried Chicken dishes paired with Champagne. She knew this concept would be a hit in Jacksonville, so with that, Silkie’s Chicken & Champagne Bar (now House of Birds + Drop Biscuits®) was born.
